OneOk Ball Park
The OneOk Ball Park features a top-notch softball field, concession stand and playground area. Located along Cherokee Street and County Road 950, this field is the home to youth softball and baseball games, adult league, T-Ball, and the Medford Cardinal softball teams. It is a busy place in the summer and fall with lots of game activity and practices. You will see lots of good games at our field so bring your lawn chair or grab a seat in our bleachers, the competition will be great fun to watch!
Swimming Pool
The Medford Swimming Pool opens at 1:00 p.m. the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and stays open until the second week of August. Daily hours are 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We feature special times for toddler swim and adult exercise. The pool can be rented for private parties which includes the use of the enclosed pavilion which is a great place to enjoy refreshments such as birthday cake.
Splash Pad
Make a splash in our splash pad located on Cherokee Street in the Nedra Nichols-Pitts Park. The splash pad features water jets from the surface along with lots of fountains to make sure you get good and wet. We have shaded seating for the parents or a sitting wall along the pad for those that want to be a little closer to the action. Kids of all ages just can’t get enough of running through the water. It is always a great time and a neat alternative to swimming pools for those little ones who can’t quite swim yet.
Lions Pavilion
The Lions Club pavilion features five extra long picnic tables and a built-in counter to hold food containers, birthday cake and presents, or just about anything you will need during your get together. The pavilion is a great place to host a family reunion, birthday party or any social gathering. It is free to reserve and it is conveniently located next to the Lions Park which is full of swings, slides, and other fun playground equipment
Lions Park
The Lions Park has so many fun play features that kids just don’t know which one to go to first. The Lions Park has it all; from swings to monkey bars, and slides to sand digging equipment. Benches are located throughout the park, so parents never have to be far from their children as they enjoy going from feature to feature enjoying the fun offered at the park
Pickle/Tennis/Basketball
If the hard court is your thing, then pick your passion between Pickleball, Tennis, and Basketball. Our hard surface has the outlines for all three and it is a great place to work out while enjoying your favorite sport. Our court is located at the intersection of North 4th and Cherokee Street just south of the mini golf course. Come get your game on in Medford.
Library
The Medford Public Library is open weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and we guarantee you will find a great book when you browse our shelves which are loaded from children’s book to Oklahoma History. We are located at 123 S. Main.
Nedra Nichols-Pitts Park
The Nichols-Pitts Park features the swimming pool, splash pad, tot lot and a pavilion. Located at West Cherokee and 4th Street, this park offers hours and hours of fun.
Pocket Park
The City of Medford turned an abandoned building site into a downtown pocket park. This venue features picnic tables so people can enjoy their lunch outside in the fresh air. The pocket park is also used for a lot of downtown events such as the Medford Fun Fest, beer gardens, and street dances. It features a canopy top for shade, so it is nice and comfortable inside and lit with twinkle lights at night to add a nice vibe to the evening.
Palmer Place
The Palmer Place is a newly renovated downtown building that is available for public use and it can be rented by the hour for business meetings or by the day for private events. It features a complete kitchen, ADA restrooms, and plenty of tables and chairs. It is great place to host baby and wedding showers, birthday parties, or business meetings.
Bridge
One of the latest features to the Medford Lions Park is this bridge erected above the creek. Now visitors to the park can easily go back and forth from the main park to other facilities such as the tennis and basketball courts, miniature golf course and shuffleboard court. Did we mention the bridge is an excellent place for a photo opportunity?
Golf Course
Play our 9-hole golf course for just $10 per round and rent a golf cart for just $5.00 per person per round. Our course features plenty of rental carts, a clubhouse with restrooms, and a nice pavilion where you can cool off and enjoy the refreshment of your choice after your great round of golf.
Airport
The Medford Airport offers a variety of resources after you land on the 3,500’ asphalt runway. Parking is available on the apron and you can use the courtesy car to drive into town for lunch or other business. If you are just stopping over for a break from flying, you can visit the pilots lounge to sit and relax for a while. If you are looking for a place to stow your plane, the City of Medford offers affordable monthly rental rates in the covered parking area. The Medford Airport is one mile south of town on Highway 81 just west of the Industrial Park and Golf Course, which is within walking distance of the airport parking apron.
Grocery Store
The City of Medford is the proud owner of Crossroads Country Market. Purchased in 2019 by the Medford Economic Development Authority, the store provides quality groceries and excellent customer service. Open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. our grocery store wants to be the grocery store of choice and our staff always goes the extra mile to make sure your shopping experience is enjoyable.
